Digital Artwork
Coming from a graphic design background, creating digital paintings was a natural transition. I've always kept a sketchbook and will usually begin with vine charcoal or graphite pencil to initially sketch out a concept. I will then use those drawings as a reference or a photo I've taken (as with Lillies from the Market). The opposite is true for my acrylic paintings. I begin with the digital painting, then recreate that on canvas.
